Tech Wizards Attending Surface Navy Association National Symposium
DAHLGREN, Va. – Tech Wizards, Inc. (TWI) is attending this year's Surface Navy Association's (SNA) 35th Annual National Symposium in Crystal City, Va., from Jan. 10 – 12. TWI will be exhibiting its Virtual Maintenance Trainers (VMTs) at booth #1306.
“Tech Wizards is excited about starting 2023 strong at SNA,” said TWI president Ken Clark. “TWI finished 2022 at Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) and are anticipating a new audience to showcase the true-to-life training capabilities of our VMTs.”
Each VMT fully emulates every aspect of tactical training equipment: the hardware design, functionality, physical aspects, space layouts, interfaces, and interconnections to systems and subsystems.
“Our VMTs mimic real-world responses to system or component failures while our sophisticated state machine tracks and captures user actions in an xAPI database,” said, TWI Director of Technology, Kenny Allwine. “Instructors can then utilize the database to analyze a student’s performance which ensures proficiency following procedural compliance maintenance tasks.”
VMTs developed by TWI aid the United States Navy’s Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative by lowering costs and increasing the quality and proficiency of training. TWIs VMTs are designed to be digital twins of tactical training equipment (TTE) and connected systems. They provide a true-to-life immersive high-fidelity 3D gaming experience to educate sailors on procedural compliance.
