Tech Wizards Joins CSCS International Programs Support Team

Tech Wizards engineering team will provide engineering services to the
Center for Surface Combat Systems (
CSCS) International Programs. Tech Wizards will provide various services to assist in supporting the Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway, Australia, Spain, and Republic of Singapore foreign military sales (FMS) programs.
Tech Wizards Engineer Receives Recognition from Department of the NAVY

Tech Wizard engineer Kelly Martini received a Certificate of Appreciation for her "Outstanding Performance during the Surface Combat Systems Training Support Program Seventh Award Fee Period." Her performance, in part, enabled the
Lockheed Martin Computer Aided Sub-mode Training (CAST) development team to receive their highest rating to date.

Tech Wizards develops Virtual World Training Prototype

Over the past few months, the
Tech Wizards Dahlgren team has developed an
Open Simulator virtual world prototype which has, with great success, been demonstrated to agencies such as
ADL and
NATO. Implementation of this product will allow students to complete training tasks in a virtual world, thereby providing the user versatility in where the training takes place, and will peak interest in the learning process.
Currently implemented are the following resources: COAST (CAST Open Architecture Suite) including login, course registration, course launching, tracking, and reporting; PowerPoint presentations;
SCORM ICW courses; and Vista Simulations. In the immediate future, it is desired to have International students able to complete the
Center for Combat Systems (CSCS) student indoctrination course before even coming to NSWC. Future goals include adding achievements and rewards for completion of courses, as well as the addition of buildings and other real world entities.

Tech Wizards Integrates Cutting Edge Google Earth Capabilities into E-2C Hawkeye Platform

Tech Wizards is supporting the integration of
Google Earth into the
E-2C Hawkeye ACIS display system. Google Earth will provide enhanced graphics capabilities through the use of high resolution satellite imagery, ground terrain, and preloaded vector data. Google Earths intuitive 3D geospatial navigation integrated with the ACIS track management system offers the E-2C community visual capabilities that were not possible with the current 2D display. Flight operations and humanitarian efforts will benefit from the new displays geocoding capabilities and 3D modeling.
Tech Wizards Awarded Core Open Architecture Contract

Tech Wizards was awarded a 2 year
sub-contract from
Wyle Aerospace Group to provide system and software engineering services to the NAVAIR PMA-231 Program Support Activity, Core Open Architecture program. The Core OA program will establish commonality and reusability between the
Hawkeye 2000 Advanced Control Indicator Set and the
Advanced Hawkeye Mission Display Operational Flight Program (OFP).
