NAVSEA AEGIS Next Generation CLASS Contract
Tech Wizards, as a prime contractor to the Naval Sea Systems Command
(NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), provides
Next Generation CLASS (NGC) technical, engineering and training support
services to the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) for AEGIS Fleet
worldwide. Tech Wizards supports current CSCS training requirements and
initiatives, and supports technological growth and advancement of the CSCS
programs related to NGC and other associated systems.
 The CSCS is the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) agent
responsible for Training and Readiness of Officer and Enlisted personnel
associated with surface ships across the Navy, including CVN, LHD, LHA, LPD,
CG, DDG, FFG and mine warfare ships. Future requirements include Littoral
Combat Ship (LCS), DDG 1000 and major efforts of force modernization and
Navy Total Force (NTF) alignment driven by the CNO Sea Warrior and
Revolution in Training initiatives. These responsibilities include training
officer and enlisted personnel of US and allied navies in the knowledge and
skills required to maintain competency and proficiency in Combat System
management, operations, maintenance, tactical decision making, and
communications. CSCS also trains surface combatant, Navy, Joint, Staff and
Allied personnel in joint battle group force air defense operations and
tactics, and performs other functions and tasks assigned by higher
authority.
